Bindings and Purflings

My standard binding package is plain maple or rosewood binding to contrast with the body wood color, with 5-line purfling on the top. Figured binding woods such as curly maple are available for additional $150 - $300 depending on the binding wood chosen. 1- or 2-line purfling around the sides and back costs an additional $50. Matching point bindings with mitered purflings are available for an additional $200. Below are some examples of possible binding and purfling combinations:

Plain Maple Binding

Boxwood binding without purflings or point bindings. Like plain maple, but a warmer, butterscotch color. No extra charge

Boxwood Binding

Indian Rosewood binding with point bindings but without purflings, no extra charge

Indian Rosewood Binding

Bindings matching back and side wood without purflings, no charge

Plain Maple Binding

Indian Rosewood binding with purflings but without point bindings, $50 extra

Indian Rosewood Binding with Purfling

Curly Maple binding with mitred point bindings and purflings, $350 extra ($150 for the curly maple, $200 for the mitred point bindings and purflings)
