The Dreadnought is the world's most popular acoustic guitar design, the instrument of choice for many country, folk and bluegrass players. I've updated this venerable design with my double-cutaway. Traditional hand-voiced X-bracing gives it the driving power Dreadnought players love. A great guitar for rhythm and flatpicking styles, as well as fingerstyle. The option of an Adirondack spruce top makes this the ultimate bluegrass lead instrument. Read a review of this instrument.
The neck joins at the 19th fret, allowing comfortable left-hand positions in all registers - the thumb can stay behind the neck all the way to the 22nd fret. My Steel-String guitars also feature my Pinless Bridge Design.
