My Flamencos are voiced for a quick response due to their light weight and low bridge height. The neck joins at the 16th fret, allowing comfortable left-hand positions in all registers - the thumb can stay behind the neck all the way to the 19th fret.
Tops are braced with the classic 7-fan design, and I voice each top by hand for its optimum response. Traditional woods such as European spruce tops, Spanish Cypress backs and sides, Spanish cedar necks and ebony friction tuner pegs give the articulation and projection needed for the Flamenco playing style. A clear .011" tap plate on both sides of the strings protects the top from rasgueado and golpe techniques.
My Flamenco body size is also available as a Classical Model.
