The Jumbo is the original Doolin double-cutaway design. Traditional hand-voiced X-bracing gives it the big, open sound we all associate with the traditional Jumbo style. This is a great instrument for pick-style; my clients who play Celtic music especially appreciate it's voice for playing rhythm in DADGAD tuning. Fingerpickers will also enjoy the easy response and wide dynamic range of this big body.
The neck joins at the 19th fret, allowing comfortable left-hand positions in all registers - the thumb can stay behind the neck all the way to the 22nd fret. My Steel-String guitars also feature my Pinless Bridge Design.
