"Mike Doolin creates exquisite handcrafted guitars that look and sound great. When you see his instruments and play them, they sell themselves. I'm very happy to own one."
John Stowell is an internationally respected jazz guitarist, teacher, clinician, and columnist for Guitar Player and Sound Check Magazines. He has performed with many of the world's great jazz artists, including Milt Jackson, Billy Higgins, Lionel Hampton, Billy Hart, Art Farmer, Richie Cole, Conte Condoli, Ralph Towner, Herb Ellis, Scott Hamilton, Bill Waltrous, Paul Horn, Mundell Lowe, Pete Christlieb, George Cables, and Tom Harrell.
I built this thin-bodied acoustic-electric nylon string with John's vertical playing position in mind. The instrument is constructed exactly like my Classical guitar model - bent sides, fann-braced top - but only 2-1/2" deep, so it is less susceptible to feedback. John I agree that it makes this the most "acoustic" sounding acoustic-electric we've heard.
